I'm pretty much just an easy-going person that's fun to hang out with. I love to dance, paint, watch anime, sing, sleep, drink beer, go stargazing, write poetry, play Magic the Gathering, drink coffee... pretty much what you'd expect from a real space-case college-aged daydreamer. I also love cats, Broadway musicals, and Siamese fighting fish, otherwise known as bettas. I consider myself pretty level-headed and make it a point to never take myself too seriously. Strike up a conversation with me, and you'll get a healthy dose of morbid humor, goofy nonsense or good-natured sarcasm. I've had the good fortune to find "Mr. Wonderful", my boyfriend Adam, and love him very very much. I've learned that you should wait for the one that you think is too good to be possible. They ARE out there. Don't settle for less.

I just done gradumanated from Purdue University with a degree in computer graphics technology. I'm presently working for a Fortune 500 company as a web applications developer. I've got my own place, my own car, and my own cat. As far as I know, I couldn't ask for much more. It doesn't take much to make me happy.

Favorite books: Lightning by Dean Koontz, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, most things by William Blake, and anything by Madeline L'Engle. The Wheel of Time series is my latest literary addiction.

My favorite movies: I have a lot, but Contact, Practical Magic, UHF, Young Frankenstein, Constantine and Secondhand Lions are up there. Napoleon Dynamite is just plain awesome.

Favorite music: I like a little bit of everything except for country, rap and gospel. As of lately I've been listening to a lot of Brainbug, Collective Soul, Juno Reactor, Clint Mansell, and Nine Inch Nails. NEWSFLASH: Holy Jesus The Faint is amazing! I just discovered them recently, and they're like aural crack!!! Glass Danse... Paranoiattack... yeeeee!!!

My favorite foods: I absolutely adore Japanese food. I'd eat sushi at least 5 times a week if I could afford it. On the completely other end of the spectrum, I love those cheap burritos you get at gas stations. Gimme one of those and an energy drink and the world is mine to conquer. Also, coffee is my elixir of life. A cup of coffee is a cup of happiness to me. It seriously makes me euphoric.

Besides Adam, a lot of random dumb stuff... swirly pretty colors, shiny things, writing music in my head... or probably just nothing at all.... ooohhh... colors.... pretty *spaces out*

Friday night Magic tournaments and then out drinking with buddies which is typically followed by playing classic NES games the only way slightly drunk people can: poorly.

Artichokes make me fart. Bad.... Oh! And I also find geeks incredibly sexy. Forget the body builders. Skip the supermodels and the jocks. I like the smart, skinny, pale and eccentric dorks that you find at game conventions, D&D games, anime club or Magic the Gathering tournaments. MMmmm... dorkalicious.

You can speak English. No... really... you send me some of that webspeak crap (helo how r u ur hot lolol!!111) I will deride you like a cruel heartless grammar Nazi. Oh... and don't you tards know you can put spaces in your interests?

ADDENDUM: I've had to add this recently after getting a few messages from guys in their 30's or older looking for sex partners and whatnot. Not to say that I don't have friends in their 30's, but c'mon... do you really think I'm going to hang out with someone more than 10 years older than I am who I met over the internet asking to fool around? If you are in your 30's or older and you're thinking about messaging me about becoming cyber buddies, just save yourself some time and don't do it. I either won't answer in kind, or just plain won't answer at all. I have no romantic interest in people your age. In fact... anyone regardless of age that is just looking for sex partners... GO AWAY. I have more dignity than that.
