OK, so here goes. Finally getting around to at least putting a little something on here. I'm sure I'll get around to truly fleshing this all out some day.

I'm Jeremiah, my friends all call me Jar. I have a fair amount of hobbies (enough to keep me from getting insanely bored at the least). Some of these include Reading/Writing (stories, poems, etc), horseback riding, video games, rpg's, music, painting, and there are more I'm sure.

As for why I'm here, well, mainly I stumbled across the sight and thought I'd check it out, see who was around, and what not. I am single, and relationship wise I'm really not sure what I'm looking for. Oh, I know i could write it all down and give a decent idea of the ideal, but I'm finally taking some time and initiative to get my life on track towards where I'd like it to be. In the long run, I feel any couple needs to be friends. So that would be the main thing I'm looking for. I'm not looking to rush into anything too quickly.

I know I haven't really described myself at all here, but it will have to do for now. If you'd like to chat or talk, feel free to send me a message. I can be a little shy at times, but i generally warm up rather quick. I'm fairly open about myself, so feel free to hit me with any questions you might have and i'll be sure to answer them.

This is a tough one to spell out. On one hand, I'm doing a lot, and on the other not much. I decided '08 is a rebuilding year for me. I have a lot of goals that have gone by the wayside that I'm working to re-establish and reorganizing my life in many ways. Apart from that, I'm either working or trying to steal a few moments in relaxation to keep sane.

Stories. It's the first thing that pops into my head even though I'm my own worst critic and don't give myself any credit. However, my mind is always whirring with ideas for one tale or another, fleshing them out, trying to find ways to spin the idea just that tiny bit differently then is normally seen, playing it out in my head. Now, if I can just get myself to sit down and start writing seriously again......

Overall though, I guess I consider myself good at a lot of things but master of none. I'm always willing to admit I can improve and if I'm motivated in the least, I'll put myself into it and really work on whatever it is.

Well, I guess I'd answer this one in that I'm tall, though I have heard that my eyes can be rather fetching at times, and I do know that they shift colors slightly with my moods, though I'll be damned if i can ever really catch that. I've also been told my face is rather expressive.

I'm really not in the right mindset to start chronicling and dissecting these categories, so instead for now I'll just through a few that pop off the top of my head for each.

books - Lord of the Rings (and other Tolkien works), The Dead of Paxinarian (Elizabeth Moon), Song of Ice and Fire (G.R.R. Martin), The sword of truth series (Goodkind), Ivanhoe, Good Omens, Pride and Prejudice

movies - Legends of the fall, fight club, kingdom of heaven, Lotr, pitch black, pride and prejudice, willow, princess bride, braveheart, excalibur, the notebook, the matrix, meet joe black, the sharpe's series, the man from snowy river, monty python

music - i like just about everything, though mood plays in a lot to what i feel like listening to. mostly into 90's grunge and rock on a daily basis i guess. lately a lot of deathklok, amy winehouse, evanessence, nickleback, korn, damian rice

food - completely in love with mexican food, chinese (i'm picky but learning to like more and more of it), swedish meatballs

I think this is one of the tougher questions to answer. On a purely basic level there are the various survival things required on a daily basis. I won't choose those since those seem to be a given to me. so, until I give it more thought here goes (in no particular order):

1) Imagination 2) Books/Music 3) Friendship 4) Faith (be it in God, or other more esoteric thoughts) 5) Family 6) Love (though I suppose we all rather go through long droughts of our lives without this blessing)

Far too many things. Sometimes I'll catch a blurb and just run with it, be it on the radio, tv, the internet, etc. The rest of the time I'm daydreaming nonsensically or whistfully about this or that. The rest of my time is either digesting a story i've just read or watched or listened to, or working through plot points of my own.

Lately, wishing i could fall asleep so i could get up at the crack of dawn for work. Otherwise it's quite, relaxing nights at home, or maybe catching a movie with some friends.

I will totally cry during movies, and yes, I do enjoy a good tear-jerker movie now and then (be it sad, romantic, etc)

I've also been told that I have amazingly skilled hands. Take that as you will.

You feel like chatting about anything or everything, you just feel like saying hello, you are bored, or any other reason you might come up with.
